Systems Control

It includes research and development in modeling, analysis, simulation and control of dynamic systems, both from the theoretical and applications point of view.

Some disciplines currently covered in this area are virtual sensors, fault detection and diagnosis, control and supervision software, robust adaptive control techniques (linear and nonlinear), nonlinear predictive control, fractional order classical and adaptive control, modeling, and control. based on fuzzy logic, neural networks and evolutionary algorithms.

Within the field of applications, the efforts are oriented towards mining processes, the wine industry, intelligent instrumentation in the wine and medicine industry, generation plants based on renewable energies, lithium batteries, autonomous vehicles, electric drives and dynamic systems of transport.
