2017 EED (DIE) Strategic Plan
Objectives
- The main objective of the Strategic Development Plan is to turn EED into a world-class department, recognized for its leadership in technology and innovation, promoting cutting-edge research to meet the challenges and needs of society, and providing an educational experience of excellence, with impact and social responsibility within the country and in Latin America.
- It is sought that in the year 2030 this Department reaches the first place in the rankings of the Departments of Electrical Engineering in Latin America. To this end, the strategic plan establishes General Action Plans to improve performance in different areas such as undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and innovation, links with the environment, and management and infrastructure at levels of international standards.
