In 1969, the first Master’s program in Electrical Engineering was created. In 1985, in accordance with an evolution and expansion of the department’s areas, the current Master’s program in Engineering Sciences, Electrical Mention, was created.

In 2005, the Doctorate program in Electrical Engineering was added to our postgraduate offer and, four years later (2009), the Master’s program in Communications Network Engineering aimed at granting specialization to professionals in that sector.
